Days Of Our Lives 2020 Predictions

Ah, Days of Our Lives. That glorious, ever-churning soap opera that blesses our screens with drama, romance, and enough plot twists to make your head spin. It's a ritual for many, a comforting constant in a world that's anything but.
And as we dive headfirst into a new year, the big question looms: what fresh madness awaits Salem? Let's get our crystal ball out, shall we? Don't expect any official spoilers here, just some fun, maybe a little bit wild, predictions from yours truly.
First up, the ever-popular Sami Brady. That woman is a force of nature. I predict she'll be back, of course. She wouldn't have it any other way.
Must Read
And when she's back, expect chaos. She'll probably try to orchestrate a wedding for someone, likely against their will. Maybe it's for EJ DiMera, just to annoy everyone. Or perhaps she'll try to get Lucas Horton hitched to someone equally dramatic. The possibilities are endless and, frankly, terrifyingly exciting.
Speaking of EJ DiMera, he's a perpetual mystery box. Is he truly reformed? Is he plotting something diabolical? My gut feeling says he'll continue his brooding, handsome ways, but with a secret agenda. Maybe he's secretly funding a villainous plot to take over Dimera Enterprises... again.
And then there's Nicole Walker. Poor, beautiful, drama-magnet Nicole. She's been through so much. I predict she'll find love, and then immediately lose it in some spectacular fashion. It's practically a soap opera law.
Maybe she'll finally get her happy ending with Eric Brady. But knowing Days, that happy ending will be interrupted by a returning villain or a long-lost relative. Perhaps their child, Holly, will suddenly develop superpowers. You never know!
And Eric himself. He's always the good guy, isn't he? A little too good, sometimes. I predict he'll be pressured into doing something slightly questionable. Maybe he'll accidentally endorse a shady business venture for a friend. Or perhaps he'll get caught in a love triangle that's so Salem, it'll involve multiple amnesias.

Let's talk about the DiMera clan. They're like the real-life Kardashians, but with more evil schemes and fewer selfies. I predict another DiMera sibling will emerge from the shadows. Someone we've never heard of before, who instantly claims to be the rightful heir to everything.
And this new sibling? They'll be a master manipulator. They'll play Gabi Hernandez and Stefan DiMera (or his memory-implanted lookalike) against each other. It'll be a battle of wits, and I'm here for all the catfights and backstabbing.
Oh, and Gabi! That woman is a firecracker. I predict she'll continue her reign as the queen of Salem, ruling her empire with an iron fist and impeccable style. She'll probably have a steamy new romance, only for it to end when her new beau is revealed to be an undercover spy or a distant relative.
What about Will Horton and Sonny Kiriakis? My favorite couple. I predict they'll enjoy a brief period of blissful happiness. A nice, quiet few months. And then, BAM! Something will happen. Maybe a mysterious illness, or a business deal gone wrong.
Perhaps Will will stumble upon a conspiracy that threatens the entire Kiriakis family. And Sonny, ever the loyal partner, will be right there beside him, ready to fight. Or maybe they'll just adopt a ridiculously large, exotic pet that causes all sorts of problems.

The Horton family. Always so wholesome, and yet, so much drama. I predict a secret relative will appear, one with a dark past. Maybe a long-lost aunt with a vendetta against Marlena Evans. Or a cousin who's secretly a criminal mastermind.
And poor Marlena. She's been possessed more times than I've had hot dinners. I predict she'll have another exorcism. Or maybe this time, the devil will be a really charming, misunderstood bartender. It's more plausible than you think.
John Black, the ultimate man of mystery. I predict he'll do something incredibly heroic. He'll save someone from a burning building, or disarm a bomb with seconds to spare. And then, in typical Days fashion, he'll develop amnesia again.
It's almost a guarantee at this point. Perhaps he'll forget who he is and fall for Sami. That would be a truly epic twist. Or maybe he'll be convinced he's a famous opera singer. Anything is possible.
Let's not forget the younger generation. Ciara Brady and Ben Weston. Their love story is so intense, it's almost unbelievable. I predict they'll face more trials and tribulations. Perhaps they'll get married, only for Ben's dark past to come back and haunt them.
Maybe Ciara will get pregnant, and the father will be revealed to be someone unexpected. Or perhaps they'll decide to move to a remote island to escape the drama, only to find it's a hotbed of supernatural activity.

The police force in Salem. They always seem to be one step behind. I predict Eli Grant and Lani Price will continue their diligent detective work, but will often be outsmarted by the criminals. They'll have a few close calls, and maybe even a daring rescue mission.
And then there's the inevitable hospital drama. Dr. Rolf, that mad scientist. I predict he'll be back with a new invention. Something that will either grant immortality or turn people into singing teacups. You know, standard Dr. Rolf stuff.
Perhaps he'll try to revive a character who was definitively dead. Someone we all thought was gone for good. Maybe it's a long-lost DiMera, or even a former love interest of Hope Brady. The resurrection game is strong in Salem.
I also have a sneaking suspicion that a major character will fake their own death. It's a classic soap trope, and Days loves a good fake-out. Who will it be? My money's on someone who's been a bit too comfortable lately.
And when they reveal themselves, it'll be in the most dramatic fashion possible. Perhaps during a town event, or at a funeral. We'll all be gasping, yelling at the screen, and loving every second of it.

Let's also consider the possibility of a huge surprise casting. Someone we'd never expect to see in Salem. A major movie star, perhaps. They'll arrive with a mysterious past and a secret mission. And the whole town will be abuzz.
And for my unpopular opinion prediction: I think Hope Brady will finally find some peace. She's earned it! She'll decide to take a break from all the madness. Maybe she'll go on a world tour, or open a charming little bakery.
But knowing Days of Our Lives, that peace will be short-lived. Just when you think things are settling down, a new crisis will erupt. A meteor strike, a zombie outbreak, a sudden plague of talking squirrels. You just can't predict the unpredictable!
So, there you have it. My completely unofficial, highly speculative, and utterly enjoyable predictions for Days of Our Lives in 2020. Whatever happens, I know one thing for sure: it's going to be wild, it's going to be dramatic, and it's going to be Days.
Grab your popcorn, settle in, and let the good times (and the great drama) roll!
